Ok so as promised, here are the pictures of the cake ive been making the last few days.
I started by getting my tin prepped and filling it with my secret always a winner sponge cake recipe
I then put in the oven, which is my nice new very hot oven now!
Bake away for approx 2 hours on low.
While the Cake was cooking I set to and made some black modelling paste and made Minnies Ears and her pale pink Bow
I used 3 pieces of flower wire in each ear to act as a support then taped them with floristry tape.
Once my cake was out the oven, I allowed to cool for an hour then wrapped in greaseproof and tinfoil and left to rest overnight.
Once the schol run was out the way in the morning I spent the next 3 and 1/2 hours decorating this cake to look vaguely similar to this one
Now baring in mind my friend Katrina only wanted a 1 tier heres my version
I love being able to make Adorable girly cakes.
